Butko points out the mistake factor as the real key

The high defense at the net from Lokomotiv created a big problem to Deportivo La Romana

Betim, Brazil, October 16, 2013 – Alexander Butko, captain of Lokomotiv downplayed the strength factor as a key component to win volleyball matches saying that the important thing is who makes fewer mistakes.

Alexander Butko, captain of Lokomotiv: It is the second time we play in this gym but we came six days ago after a long flight to be ready for the tournament. Today we were a little bit nervous and we need to be more relaxed and play better in the next matches. In this game the important thing is not who attacks harder but who makes fewer mistakes.

On the match against Sada Cruzeiro: Sada Cruzeiro is one of the best teams in the world with many players with international experience. We will be ready to play and the fans will enjoy a good match of volleyball.

Tolinson Aquino, captain of La Romana: We went out to battle until the last point against a very big team, very tall and with good players. Their blocking is very high and the attacks so powerful. But we resisted a lot and will be ready of the next match against the team from Tunisia.

Andrey Voronkov, coach of Lokomotiv: Our team was short of energy and we need to play more concentrated. Today we had some problems with our defense and also with the serves. We will see tomorrow.

Osiel Vazquez, coach of Deportivo La Romana: The Lokomotiv club has many players with international experience. They have a very high block at the net and are good with serve, blocking and attack. I am glad because my players gave their best and I am of the opinion that we could have won the second set.
