Team profile

The Club Sportif Sfaxien is a Tunisian sports team founded in 1928 in Sfax, a popular and successful volleyball region of the country.  The  has won the Tunisian Championship 11 times, the Tunisia cup 12 times, eight Arab Championships and six Africa Cups.

It was the first Tunisian club to play in the Volleyball Club World Championship in 1989 in Italy.

 
Coach profile

Mohamed Ben Mustapha, 60, played for Tunisian teams Union Sportive des Transports de Sfax (USTS) and Club Africain from 1967 to 1984.

He was a member of the Tunisian national team from 1970 to 1981, during which time they won the African Championship (1979), the Arab Championship (1980), the Africa Cup (1977), the Arab-African Cup (1981) and the African Games (1978).

He is a Level 1 FIVB coach and instructor, and has trained various teams for
Club Sportif Sfaxien, USTS and Club Africain in Tunisia. He has also coached Al-Ahli Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait team Qadsia Sporting Club, where he spent 12 years and won 12 titles.
