STARTING PLAYERS / SUBSTITUTES
One of the taller teams in the competition (average 1.85) they were able, at times to use this height advantage. At times earlier they seemed to be disjointed in their play and execution. Service errors (90) were the highest among the top 6 teams. Service Receive (13th) was the ‘Achilles’ heel for this team as it was not as consistent in tougher situations and this led to setting (10th) and attacking difficulties throughout the final round. In all other skills they ranked in the mid levels for the tournament. This team also showed potential for the future and should help their Senior National program continue to stay strong.
Offensively they were led by power Anne Buijs (13th) who contributed 99 points. Diagonal player Lonneke Sloetjes was 7th overall in that attack area (40.9% kill) and middle Nicole Koolhaas ranked 2nd in blocking (1.14 blocks per set). Setter, Judith Blansjaar, was 4th in serving with .57 aces per set. Libero Kirsten Knip ranked 2nd within the diggers (4.29 digs per set) and 3rd overall as a Libero.
Offensive System: 5-1
Defensive System: 6 Back
· A few strong servers with #11 using a spin serve but with erratic consistency.
