Berg thinks there is room to improve as a team

USA players were very relaxed after the easy victory over Serbia

Lindsey Berg, Captain of USA: It's amazing that we're through and have won the group but we have another chance on Sunday to get better as a team. As long as we continue to play our game, we will be unstoppable.

On the next group match against Turkey:
We've only played them once in the Grand Prix and they're a tough side.

On whether players may be rested for the final pool match:
I like that we have momentum. I don't know what coach (Hugh McCutcheon) is going to do. That's his decision.

Foluke Akinradewo, Player of USA: We just need to be consistent, make fewer errors and play the USA volleyball way. Rely on each other.

On what makes the team work well:
Team chemistry is important. Regardless of the sport, the team is the most important thing, and this group we have right now is amazing.

On how they approach the rest of the tournament:
We just need to play our game. No matter what team we play, they're going to want to beat USA. We've got that target on our backs.

Brankica Mihajlovic, Player of Serbia: We didn't have a lot of pressure today so we played our best. We already knew we were out so we just tried to enjoy the game.

On the future of the team:
It's difficult for us as we have a very young team. We've only been together several months so it's been hard work, but we tried our best. Rio (2016 Olympic Games) is a long way to look forward to. We are going to have 10 days' rest and then start training again.

Jovana Brakocevic, Player of Serbia: We were just playing for ourselves today and we will do the same for the final match. The USA team are very good and potential gold medalists. We put up the fight, less in the first set where we were tired.

On whether they would have had better results if they were in Pool A:
We don't think like that. We were missing more than half of the team. Half is injured and we didn't practice enough.
