Marcin Mozdzonek, Captain of Poland: This was our best match. We played very well and made few mistakes. We approached it in a very concentrated manner. You can't let them (Argentina) have even one ball.

Andrea Anastasi, Coach of Poland: We are optimistic about our chances here but these are the Olympic Games and the World League is in the past. People back in Poland expect a lot from our team. We've played good all season and at the world league we won. Despite one loss so far at the Olympic Games, we have played well but we need to push a lot more. I am optimistic as we have played well all season, but I would like to play well next week, not this week.

Krzysztof Ignaczak, Player of Poland: We knew exactly that Argentina is a very good team. They have one of the best setters in the world, Luciano de Cecco, who is playing both sides - right and left - very well.

Rodrigo Quiroga, Captain of Argentina: We knew tonight it would be difficult. There was too much pressure from the service, the blocks. Poland played perfect volleyball. They didn't allow us to play our normal game. When they serve 100%, have tall players, good blockers and a very good defence, it is really hard. We have to forget and think about Bulgaria (their next match) now, the most important game for us in the pool. The Olympics are like this. We don't feel good, we must win.

Facundo Conte, Player of Argentina: We didn't play well and had a lack of concentration. We have to play much better to win a match and progress in the competition.

Pablo Crer, Player of Argentina: It was a very difficult match. We knew that Poland would be difficult even though they were defeated by Bulgaria. Our goal is to be in the next round and then be amongst the best five teams.
