Sandra picks Larissa and Juliana to win first Brazilian gold since Atlanta

Larissa and Juliana beat the Czech Republic's Hana Klapalova and Lenka Hajeckova in straight sets to top Pool A

London, Great Britain, August 1, 2012 - Three time Olympian, Atlanta champion and Sydney bronze medallist Sandra Pires says world champions Larissa and Juliana are on track for Olympic gold.

Despite dominating the FIVB SWATCH World Tour for many years, an Olympic medal has eluded the star Brazilian duo, namely because Juliana missed Beijing due to injury.

After three impressive wins from three, Sandra picks the top seeds to claim first women's gold medal for Brazil since Sandra triumphed with Jackie Silva in 1996. Sandra also picks all four Brazilian teams to reach the podium.
