Hui Ruoqui, Player of China: When we were training, we were divided in different groups to prepare the match. Our preparation was to know perfectly every single Turkish player. We did a lot of research regarding that.

Yang Junjing, Player of China: Our aim was to get two sets and win one point, so we did well. The whole team had a really good mentality. We really prepared and tried our best. Turkey are one of the strongest teams in Europe. We were trying our best against them.

Wang Yimei, Player of China: At the beginning we played very hard and after, we started to feel tired. But we managed to carry on. At the end of the third set, we did not control the match very well. We really wanted to win, but we didn't keep the pace enough.

Marco Aurelio Motta, Coach of Turkey: The China team was more stable for the whole match. Some moments we lost on simple opportunities.

Neslihan Darnel, Player of Turkey: It has been individual mistakes on our part. Even if the other team plays well, we can't keep making those mistakes.

Neriman Ozsoy, Player of Turkey: Psychologically we were ready. We've done a lot of preparation physically, but we just didn't perform. We made a lot of basic mistakes. We were serving poorly, which meant we had a poor block, and China were too organised for us.
