As a 20-year-old, Kâabi Hichem was the top scorer for
Tunisia at the 2006 World Championships and since that
time, he has lived up to his billing as Tunisia’s star player.
Now 25, Hichem has plenty of experience after participating
in a number of FIVB international competitions, including
the 2006 and 2010 World Championships.
He is the go-to guy for the Tunisian team and with his
added experience is a positive influence on Tunisia’s
younger players.

Thirty-eight-year-old Noureddine Hfaiedh is the most
experienced player in the Tunisia line up and at 1.97m,
one of the tallest. A devastating attacker, Hfaiedh is a
leader on and off the court with his inspirational play and
also impressive reception game. Having played his club
volleyball in Tunisia for three different clubs from 1985 to
2002, Hfaiedh moved overseas to play in Greece, France
and Japan before returning to Tunisia.
Seen as Tunisia’s best player of all time, Hfaiedh has plenty
of experience to count on including three World Cups
(1999, 2003, 2007), two World Championships (2002,
2006) and the Atlanta and Athens Olympics. Hfaiedh was
Tunisia’s second best scorer in Athens and also a leading
scorer for Tunisia at the 2006 World Championships.
