Home motivated Thai fly past Tunisia

 
Thai girls celebrated their third win against Tunisia

Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, July 30, 2013- Hosts Thailand were highly by the home crowd to clinch a straight sets victory (25-22, 25-20, 25-12) against Tunisia in their last match of Pool A at FIVB Girls' U18 World Championship held in Chatchi Hall in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand on Tuesday.

 The victory put the winners in the second position of the pool with a win- loss ratio of 3-1, following the pool leaders Serbia, while Tunisia dropped to 0-4 to finish at the bottom of the pool and play for 17 to 20 positions.

 With their quick attacks and multiple combinations by the net, Thailand players led the match from the start specially that the Tunisian coach didn't field the captain Emna Khalifa during the whole match. Jiraporn Chaymon led Thai scorers with 13 points from her sharp hits.

 Again Jihen Mohamed was the best scorer from the loser side with 8 points.
