The Shanghai Grand Slam, which runs from April 30 to May 5, will now be the opening event on the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour

Lausanne, Switzerland, February 20, 2013 - The 2013 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour calendar has been updated following a change of dates to the Corrientes Grand Slam in Argentina.

Previously the opening event of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour, the Corrientes Grand Slam has now changed dates from March 27-31 to May 22-26 to be the second Grand Slam tournament of the year.

The opening event on the FIVB Beach Volleyball season will now be the Fuzhou Open in China from April 23-28 while the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour, which comprises of the World Championships and Grand Slams, will begin on April 30 with the Shanghai Grand Slam in China which runs until May 5.
