New interactive tools for teaching basic skills available online

 
Added to the 10 posters already on the site, the new additions bring the total available to 17

Lausanne, Switzerland, December 14, 2012 – The FIVB Technical and Development department has released seven new interactive posters providing step-by-step demonstrations of basic techniques by the world’s top players. They are now available for download from the Technical/Coach page of the FIVB website.

The posters, which are free to download and can be either printed out or used electronically, incorporate embedded videos to show how the best players execute skills in real game situations. Each video demonstration shows in both full speed and slow motion, and can be steamed live or downloaded from a link on the poster to be used separately. Coaches, teachers and players are encouraged to explore the collection.

Additional posters, each focusing on a specific skill, will be introduced in the months ahead. The latest set can be downloaded from the site, or directly from the following links:

Six of the seven demonstrations in this series of posters feature female players. As new posters are produced, an even distribution of male and female players will be used to provide examples. The FIVB is committed to providing high-quality, adaptable and flexible coaching materials that can be used by everyone seeking to learn or teach volleyball, anywhere in the world.
