The St. Denis team at the zone 7 Club Championships in Madagascar

Antananarivo, Madagascar, November 19, 2012 - The nineteenth edition of the zone 7 Club Championships started on Sunday with the participation of 10 men’s and 8 women’s teams at the Palais des Sports hall in Antananarivo.

The participating countries include Mauritius, Madagascar and the Seychelles, all countries affiliated to CAVB, as well as the Reunion and Mayotte.

The competition is preparation for next year’s African Club Championships for men and women. Madagascar is a candidate to host the women's competition.
 
The group stage of the zone 7 club championship will be held from November 18 to 22. The finals and ranking matches will take place on November 23 and 24.
