Lausanne, Switzerland, December 5, 2012 – Dr. Ary S. Graça F°, the new President of the FIVB, will visit Algeria from December 6 to 9 in his first official visit to an African country.
On Saturday, Dr. Graça F° will attend a mini volleyball tournament organised by the Algerian Volleyball Federation, in collaboration with the FIVB, at the Blida school sports hall.
The event will bring together around 1,500 athletes from different provinces of the country.
Dr. Graça F° will also host a press conference and hold talks with officials from Algerian sporting bodies, including Minister of Youth and Sports Mohamed Tahmi.
On Friday, he will visit the city of Tipaza to watch a women’s match between GSPetrolier and NRChlef in Douera.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Algerian independence.
