The deadline for the first event of the year, the FIVB Beach Volleyball SWATCH World Tour Brasilia Open, is the end of March |
Lausanne, Switzerland, March 20, 2012 – The media accreditation deadline for the first event on the FIVB Beach Volleyball SWATCH World Tour, the Brasilia Open, is quickly approaching, with March 31 the final day to send in applications.
The FIVB Press Department launched a new online accreditation platform for its competitions ahead of last year’s FIVB Volleyball World Cup in Japan and this will now be used for all beach volleyball and volleyball tournaments.
Journalists and media professionals have the opportunity to register online for the FIVB Media Club, which benefits include receiving FIVB press releases, publications and having access to additional key media info.
Once registered as part of the FIVB Media Club, journalists can apply for accreditation for FIVB events, including both volleyball and beach volleyball tournaments.
The official cut off time for members of the media to apply for accreditation to events is two weeks before it starts.
