Lausanne, Switzerland, January 11, 2012 – Volleyball fans can now catch up on the latest news in Arabic after issue number 4 of VolleyWorld was uploaded to the FIVB website on Thursday.
Vanuatu’s London 2012 Olympic Games aspirations are highlighted in the latest edition, with beach volleyball duo Linline Matauatu and Miller Elwin discussing their ambitions.
The pair featured at the beach volleyball test event earlier this year and are well on their way to a place at the Games after coming through the first round of the AVC Continental Cup.
“This is all so new to us but we wouldn’t trade the experience for anything and we want so badly to return here next summer,” Elwin said in London. “This is our dream, this is our passion and this is our life right now.”
FIVB Hero Ekaterina Gamova as well as Swedish beach volleyball duo Stefan Gunnarsson and Hannes Brinkborg also feature as does former USA captain and Olympic champion Tom Hoff in a special q&a.
