FIVB President: “National leagues create local heroes and inspire new generations of fans and players.”

Lausanne, Switzerland, June 15, 2020 – The FIVB President Dr Ary S. Graça F° today addressed the global Volleyball Family via video message to discuss the importance of national leagues in encouraging the grassroots development of volleyball.

In the message, the FIVB President noted the key role that national leagues have in developing and inspiring new generations of fans and players. In view of the FIVB’s vision to make volleyball the number one family sport in the world, he also stressed the need to continue to make sport accessible to all.
