Leon upbeat in lockdown with fun training routine

Lausanne, Switzerland, May 8, 2020 – Poland superstar Wilfredo Leon stays upbeat in lockdown with some fun volleyball training drills he has shared on Instagram.

The 26-year-old outside hitter, who had previously shared at-home workout videos on Instagram, had a chance to make training more fun. The Poland star incorporated various skills to improve his footwork, coordination and aim by juggling and setting the ball to get it through a hoop.

Japanese opposite spiker Yuji Nishida also shared his strength training video, but while he is staying at home, he is keeping himself busy with a do-it-yourself (DIY) project.

Here’s the before and after picture of Nishida’s DIY project. It looks like he has great talent on an off the court!

Meanwhile, while other athletes share their lockdown training routines on social media, some athletes are trying to entertain themselves and their loved ones at home. With the lockdown in effect for some time now, these athletes are able to enjoy time with their families.

Serbian player Jovana Brakocevic does fun activities with her son Viktor like exercising and baking.

Brazilian player Jaqueline Carvalho makes workout videos with her son Arthur.

Italy’s Ivan Zaytsev and France’s Kevin Tillie cherish their time at home doing daddy duties.

German U20 player Erik Roehrs spent time with his younger brother Hannes doing some setting drills in their yard.

Whether you are alone or with family at home, the most important thing is that your health always come first. So stay at home and keep sharing your #VolleyballAtHome posts.
