Poland 2014 host cities organise Mini Volleyball World Championship
Warsaw, Wroclaw, Katowice, Krakow, Gdansk, Lods and Bydgoszcz will organise the special event, where school students will be able participate in the tournament through their local volleyball federations. The competition system in each city will be adjusted to fit the number of teams participating.
The participants will have an opportunity to meet the World Championship players and prominent figures, who have already confirmed their attendance at the event.
Young volleyball players will also have a chance to feel a part of the World Championship, as their matches will be played on the same days as Poland 2014. A trophy and a “Mini World Champions” title will go to the winners.
The aim of the Mini Volleyball World Championship is to promote the senior competition, but also to popularise volleyball and sportsmanship among youth and children.
