Mexico host Pan American Volleyball Cup
The Men’s Pan American Volleyball Cup is scheduled to take place from August 9-17. Nine teams are expected to compete, including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, the United States and hosts Mexico. The teams participating in the competition will arrive in Tijuana this week.
Last year's Pan American Cup took place at the Juan de la Barrera Olympic Gymnasium in Mexico City. Winners Brazil defeated silver medalists Mexico in the final.
Journalists are invited to a press conference at 12.00 local time on Tuesday at the Baja California High Performance Center in Tijuana, which will also host the competition.
Fans will get a chance to cheer for some of the best volleyball players and teams in the Americas. Entrance will be free.
