FIVB Coaches Course concludes in Thailand

 Bangkok, Thailand, July 12, 2014 – An FIVB Level 1 International Coaches Course was concluded on Saturday at the Sports Office of Ramkhamhaeng University in Bangkok, with Shanrit Wongprasert, Honorary President of the Thailand Volleyball Association and member of the FIVB's Board of Administration, presiding over the closing ceremony.

A total of 31 coaches from 10 countries, including India, Singapore and the Philippines, participated in the program, supported by the FIVB Technical and Development Department and the FIVB Development Centre in Thailand.
After 12 days of intense theoretical and practical instruction, the programme, which was directed by Shanwen Zhao from China and instructed by Mark Lebedew from Germany, came to a successful close on Saturday. The participants expressed their satisfaction with the dedication and teaching methods of the Chinese course director and the German instructor.
In his closing speech, Shanrit said on behalf of the TVA's President Somporn Chaibangyang, that he was very happy that the programme was successful. He wished all the participants a pleasant trip back home.
