Argentina set to play friendly matches with Tunisia

Argentina men's national team continue intensive training under Julio Velasco, in preparation for the FIVB Volleyball World League and the FIVB Volleyball World Championship
Buenos Aires, Argentina, May 14, 2014 – The Argentina men’s national team are set to play friendly matches with Tunisia as part of their preparations for the FIVB Volleyball World League, where they will play hosts to France on May 24 and 25 in the city of Mendoza. 

The squad mentored by Julio Velasco will face Tunisia on Monday, May 19 at 22:00 local time, at UTN Gym in Tigre. Another match is slated the following day in Almirante Brown at 22:00 local time and will be broadcasted live by TyC Sports television channel. 

The main goal of Argentina is to have an intensive training, not only for the World League, but also for the FIVB Volleyball World Championship in Poland. 

Argentina will be hosting a total of three weekends of the FIVB World League Intercontinental Round, including the matches against France in Mendoza on the first week. On the second weekend, Argentina will host Germany in Salta on May 31 and June 1, and Japan in Buenos Aires on June 6 and 8 at the state-of the art gymnasium, Lomas de Zamora.

Argentina will then travel to Komaki in Japan, Berlin in Germany, Mouilleron le Captif and Paris in France, to complete the seven-week-long Intercontinental Round of Pool B.
