Coaching staff for age group national teams meet in Argentina

 

Buenos Aires, Argentina, April 11, 2014 – Members of Argentina’s men’s and boys’ coaching staff met at the Argentine Volleyball Federation (FeVA) headquarters to discuss matters pertaining to the 2014 international season.

FeVA's President, Juan Antonio Gutierrez and Rodolfo Quiros, the official in charge of all the male teams were also present at the meeting to lend their support.

The working meeting was headed by Julio Velasco, coach of the Argentine seniors' men’s team together with his assistant coaches, Julian Alvarez and Martin Lopez  as well as Hernan Ferraro in charge of the  U23 age group category.

Representing the U21 team was coach Alejandro Grossi and trainer Alejandro Bertorello. Julio Gimenez will lead the U16 and U19 age group category working alongside Damian Arredondo, Claudio Coria (Assistant Coach) and  Federico Baroni (trainer).

Doctor Damian Poglajen, the doctor incharge of all the age group categories was also introduced at the meeting. The medical staff will comprise six members including Doctor Poglajen and therapist Juan Pedro Seret.

The international competition calendar for each of the age group categories and the coordination of the work of all male teams was discussed at the meeting. Also present were the logistical manager of the senior team Osvaldo Celia and Francisco Lorenzon in charge of logistic for the age group categories.
