Algeria claim second win at Women's World Championship qualifier

 
The winner of the six nation tournament will earn a ticket to the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship Italy 2014, which will take place from September 23 to October 12

Alger, Algeria, February 26, 2014 - Hosts Algeria proved too strong for Botswana by winning their fourth day encounter 3-0 (25-11, 25-10, 25-10) at the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship Italy 2014 Africa Pool T qualifier held at Harcha Hacène Hall in Alger, Algeria on Wednesday.
 
Algeria kept their unbeaten record with their second win of the tournament while Botswana dropped to one win and two defeats. 
 
In the other match of the day, Cameroon cruised past Nigeria 3-0 (25-14, 25-11, 25-16) to improve their win:loss ratio to 2:1, with Nigeria ramining winless in three matches.

The six nation round robin tournament will feature two important matches on Thursday as Algeria face Cameroon in one of the competition's crucial games, while Nigeria meet DR Congo in another ranking encounter.
