Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, February 18, 2014 – The match schedule for the 2014 South American Volleyball Club Championship to be held in Vivo Minas was released on Friday. The matches will be played at the JK Arena in Belo Horizonte from February 19 to 23.

The eight teams will be divided into two groups of four and the top two teams of each group will advance to the semifinals.

Sada Cruzeiro is in Group B, alongside Vivo / Minas, National, Uruguay, and the club ADO, from Chile. In group A are the two Argentine teams, Boca Juniors and UPCN who are the current champions, plus the National League Club of Peru and the Club Universidad La Salle in Bolivia.

Sada Cruzeiro's debut will take place against National, Uruguay on Wednesday at 17:00.

The matches will be played in sets of 25 points and the qualifying round will take place from Wednesday to Friday. The semifinals will take place on Saturday, 22 February while the finals will take place a day later on Sunday, 23 February at 20:30.

The winner of the South American Championship will be guaranteed a place at the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Club World Championship to be held from May 6 to 11 in Betim, Brazil. Sada Cruzeiro, as the defending champion and host have already been guaranteed a seat.
