France coach Philippe Blain: "That makes me grumble to miss this victory, we were really within close in the tie break. We shall try again on Sunday. We took at least a point tonight.”
France captain Nicolas Maréchal: “Even if players in this team of Cuba are missing, the others are very solid. We played a serious match but we missed some important balls. We are upset because we wanted to win for the 1st time in France this year.”
Cuba coach Orlando Samuels: “A French player said that Leon is the best player of the world. He was again good this evening but there are the other players who are also very strong.”
