Vaduz, Liechtenstein, July 17, 2016 - The Liechtenstein Volleyball Federation (LVBV) is hosting the 10th edition of the Beach Volleyball International Refereeing Candidate Course since 2007 from July 17-24, under the supervision of FIVB Course Director Peter Paul Hreszczuk from Australia and FIVB Course Instructor Oana Sarb from Romania.

The course was opened by LVBV President Philippe Schürmann and has gathered nine candidates from nine different countries, including Jamaica, Fiji, Oman, Sweden, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain and the Netherlands.

On the first day the Liechtenstein Federation invited the candidates to an excursion to the mountains of Liechtenstein which took them to 2000 meters above sea level. Before and after the excursion, the candidates participated in six hours of theory classes. The theory classes continue on Monday and Tuesday. From Wednesday to Sunday the candidates will referee at the 12th Satellite tournament in Vaduz and hope to earn their certificates.
