After the meetings President Ary Graça said:
“It was extremely important for me to sit down with leading Japanese broadcasters and talk with them about the new mentality of the FIVB. They have seen our desire for embracing digital transformation, through the partnership with Microsoft, the state-of-the-art technology and innovation we use at our events, our dynamic approach to sport presentation and utilising the Challenge System.

“I was delighted to offer our Japanese partners the opportunity to enhance their own presentation elements at future FIVB events held here in Japan, as I am sure the local fans would embrace these fantastic developments. Japan has a loyal fan base and a great volleyball tradition. It is important to use the success of the 2018 Women’s World Championship, continue the momentum and bring our new mentality to Japan.”
