A total of 18 participants – 13 men and five women – were introduced to the fundamentals of beach volleyball, immensely benefitting in the course as four national team players and their coach provided some practical insider knowledge about the sport.
FIVB instructor Mauro Hernandez, who is well known for his coaching experience in the region, conducted the course successfully under his careful supervision.
Indeed, the goals of the course were met, as there was a big contribution to the knowledge of each participant on the technical and tactical level, as well as in the management of the game.
Technical and tactical performances were analysed with South American beach volleyball teams present. The Rules of the Game were given special attention to, and practical explanations were given by the players.
