Lausanne, Switzerland, June 30, 2020 – The FIVB President Dr Ary S. Graça F° today addressed the Volleyball Family in his latest video message to discuss the work being done to ensure the safe and strong return of beach volleyball.

The FIVB President highlighted the adaptation of the Beach Volleyball Qualification System, and the decision to reschedule next year’s Beach Volleyball World Championships to 2022, in light of the postponed Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. Both of these decisions have been vital in giving beach volleyball players certainty, motivation and assurance, allowing them to focus on what they do best.

In addition, the FIVB President reminisced about the incredible FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships hosted last year in Hamburg, Germany, which was enjoyed by over 158 million viewers worldwide.
