Portuguese Volleyball Federation fights against cancer

The Portuguese Cancer League (LPCC) is a private non-profit non-governmental organisation founded in April 1941
Porto, Portugal, June 12, 2013 - At the FIVB U19 World Championship that will be held in Porto, Portugal from July 11 to 14, the Portuguese Volleyball Federation (FPV) will be tackling some important issues off the courts.

Working in partnership with the Portuguese League Against Cancer (LPCC), the two organisations have created a campaign that aims to warn people of the hazards of solar exposure.

This campaign, which has the motto “To prevent is the best medicine”, will be conducted at all Beach Volleyball events in the country including the U19 World Championship and the National Championship.
