CEV seminar for Beach Volleyball referees helps unify understanding and application of new rules

A total of 29 national federations were represented in the annual CEV seminar devoted to Beach Volleyball refereeing held this past weekend in Antalya, Turkey

Antalya, Turkey, April 7, 2013 - A total of 29 national federations were represented in the annual CEV seminar regarding Beach Volleyball refereeing held this past weekend in Antalya, Turkey.

By participating, the federations demonstrated a strong wish to further develop and keep the extensive knowledge of Beach Volleyball refereeing in CEV.

“The input given by the referee delegates is a guarantee to the unification of the new rules and guidelines and to their standardized application,” said ERC President Dr. Jan Rek. "The participants will be our ambassadors in spreading the competency and information given at the seminar."

In addition to attending theoretical sessions, the participants were active observers during the CEV Satellite event in Antalya, Turkey. CEV is offering that same high level of expertise to federations worldwide that express a desire to better their development of Beach Volleyball.
