Argentina preparing for South American Tour

On the final day of play, both gold medal matches will be broadcast live by Argentina’s new volleyball television channel, TyC Sports.
Santa Fe, Argentina, November 20, 2012 - Santa Fe is warming up, getting ready to welcome the opening of the 2012/13 South American Beach Volleyball Tour. The competition is bringing the continent’s best men’s and women’s pairs to Argentina this November 23 to 25.

The matches will be held at Parador Triferto, the premiere location for Santa Fe beach volleyball competitions. It was there that Argentina earned its first women’s qualification for the 2012 Olympic Games, at the Continental Cup this past June.

Argentina’s best women's team, the Olympians Ana Gallay and Virginia Zonta, will return to Santa Fe for the South American Tour, while on the men's side Argentina will be led by Pablo Suarez and Santiago Etchegaray. The participation of teams from Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia have also been confirmed among the 24 pairs (12 teams for each gender competition) competing.
