Defending champs claim win No 2
Defending Olympic champions Serbia and Montenegro collected their second win from three matches with an accomplished straight sets victory on Thursday.

Serbia and Montenegro, ranked third in the world, were the heavy favorites for the match and were expecting little trouble against a side ranked 18 places below them. Tunisia had lost their opening two matches and although they pushed Argentina to five sets they weren't expected to cause Serbia and Montenegro any problems.

The Serbia and Montenegro benefit started right from the first set with setter Nikola GRBIC, his brother Vladimir and Andrija GERIC showing their class with some neat touches around the net.

After conceding only 16 points in the first set, Serbia and Montenegro were looking for more of the same in the second and with their block working extremely well, the script remained the same in the second set. Fifteen kill-blocks in the second set from the Blue Team didn't allow Tunisia any advantage and after 21 minutes they were 2-0 up.

Tunisia showed a little more resistance in the third set but there was no chance of the result changing. The defending champs sailed to an easy straight-sets victory to set them up nicely for their next match against Argentina on Saturday.

Serbia and Montenegro were guided offensively by GERIC (13 points) and Ivan MILJKOVIC (12 points), while Marouane FEHRI was the top scorer with 11 points for Tunisia.
