Alexey KAZAKOV (RUS) -

"We played very badly against Italy, but now I am very happy winning the bronze medal. We wanted to win a medal and we did it against the US."

On the gold medal match:

"I think that it going to be a very hard match. Brazil is a great team and Italy showed that they can fight all matches. I cannot predict who will win the gold medal."

Tomas HOFF (USA) - middle blocker

"I have mixed feelings today. I am very happy taking part in the Olympic Games and reaching the finals, but I am disappointed about our performance. The Russians played better; they deserved the medal. It was great to be in Athens".

William PRIDDY (USA) - wing spiker

"Things didn't go well for us today. It was kind of unexpected. We did our best, but it was not enough. We did not have it. We had confidence, we were ready, but we lost the game".
