Tunisia head coach: "Level between Tunisia and USA is not the same. We come here to get experiences and improve our standard."

USA head coach James Stone: “We played well today. I think we got more crucial points from spiking and blocking. We earlier expected Tunisia to come up with aggressive serves and they really did so, particularly in the second set. We responded by utilizing fierce spikes and blocking. I think Tunisia served well today against us. We had good passes, increasing more chancing of attacking. It’s hard to say now how our prospect in the championship would be. We have to wait for the match between Germany and Slovakia.”

Captain Carly Wopat: “I think we played well, but not our best. We will keep on our good form for next matches.”

Tunisia head coach Ben Kaid Slim: “We tried to do our best. Level between Tunisia and the USA is not the same. We tried to come out with aggressive serves as we learn that we have no match against them as they are tall with good spikes. We come here not to win as many as we can. We just want our girls to gain more experiences and improve our standard. I think the USA played very fast. They are much taller than us.”

Captain Maroua Boughanmi: “We need more experiences. Now, we have to wait for our last match possibly against Egypt. I hope that my team can beat Egypt to finish 15th place.”
