"Happy with this additional 3:0" says Brazilian coach

Peru’s captain Vivian Baella: “After we leveled the score at 9 in the third set, we started making many mistakes, we lost our concentration and we did not grasp our chance”.

Coach Manuel Hernan Artieda: “Brazil has got a very strong team, basically they have no weak points and all positions are definitely amazingly solid. We played some matches against them in Brazil before traveling to Thailand for the World Championships, so we knew we were going to have a difficult job today. As soon as we got closer in the score, we took a breath and that costed us a lot, because it was like jumping back by 3 or even more rallies”.

Brazilian captain Rosane Maggioni: “We are happy with this result and we hope to continue with our clean run”.

Coach Luizomar de Moura: “I am satisfied with the result; the match was tough especially because Peru put up quite a strong performance”.
