Team profile
The Argentina boys' youth team are expecting 2011 to be a special year as
they look forward to improve on their bronze-medal showing at the 2009
FIVB Boys' Youth Volleyball World Championship when they host the
tournament at home.

Argentina's boys' youth team, along with the juniors, is ranked No.1 in
the world at the moment and they will be looking to justify that billing
in the World Championship in front of their home fans. They have prepared
strongly by competing in the ACLAV Argentine A2 Senior League and several
friendly matches and tours before the final roster is decided.

The entire roster of the South American Boys' Youth Championship-winning
squad in Venezuela is part of the team, with some of them also vital in
the path to the silver medal at 2010 1st Youth Olympic Games in Singapore.

Argentina have finished among the top four teams in the last three
editions of the FIVB Boys' Youth Volleyball World Championship. Prior to
ranking third in Italy in 2009, the team achieved two fourth-place
finishes in Mexico 2007 and Algeria 2005.
Coach profile

MURACO - Head Coach.

In the last several years Fabian Muraco worked without stop at the
grass-root Argentine Boys & Men Teams and therefore is one of the artifice
of the present of the light blue â?" white jersey teams that stand as per
the FIVB ranking, first in the World (Youth & Junior Teams).
The Argentine coach leaded Argentina in its third place at the 2009 World
Championship in Italy and for second consecutive times as Boys Youth South
American Champion in the year 2010.  Now, he will be one of the officials
in charge of defending that privileged place in a very hard commitment.
Muraco was also part of the coaching team from the very start on the
growing of the Argentine path towards the top of the ranking.  He was the
coach of the fourth place won at the Algeria 2005 World Championship, with
names that already are stars of the Argentine Men Team, players like
Luciano De Cecco, Federico Pereyra and Rodrigo Quiroga.
