Serbians don’t have time to celebrate or relax

Serbians recorded 12 blocks against Russia
Ivan Nikishin, Captain of Russia: “Congratulations to Serbia as they passed for the final”.

Aleksander Atanajisevic, Captain of Serbia: “It was a difficult match as we expected. We were under pressure because we wanted to play well in order to have access to the final. We don’t have time to celebrate or relax as we have to think about tomorrow”.

Sergei Shlyapnikov, Coach of Russia: “We had problems in particular with our setter that played lower and lower during the match. Two players in particular did not work well and this is what drove us to this result”.

Milan Djuricic, Coach of Serbia: “Thank you for the congratulations! We really played a good match. We knew the Russian team before. Today we did well in blocking and serving. We need to rest just a while in order to prepare for the match that will take place tomorrow. I hope we will play as well as today and I hope we will reach our main goal winning the gold medal”.
