Energy for five thrilling sets

Javier Perez, Player of Puerto Rico: “I guess we mantained the energy through out all the five sets. We played to our system, the Japanese are much more different then us. We made some really key blocks and I guess that put us on the game".

Ariel Diaz, Coach of Puerto Rico: “I always said that when we keep our mind concentrated on the match we are going to have some advantage of that. We came from behind in the fourth set and we blocked better. The Japan had some problems in the reception. It's a good victory for us."

Issei Maeda, Captain of Japan: “The fourth set was very important, but we decided it was enough".

Masafumi Oura, Coach of Japan: “Today we played very good, but in the fourth set there were a lot of touch put balls. The mistakes we made took us to loose the match."
