Totally different new style and match |
Taylor Sander,
Captain of USA: ”We have left in jesolo the first round and we came
here to play better. This was the first winning here in Bassano and
Algeria gave us the opportunity to play a really good match”.
Andy Read, Coach of USA: ”I like the fact that we have a couple of
players that have played very well; Algeria have played better but we
have had more concentration at least in the tiebrak”.
Oualid Zouai, Captain of Algeria: ”We have played a good match but
everytime we miss something we hope for a better match in the next
days”.
Abdelhakim Djehiche, Coach of Algeria: “The U.S.-boys have a style of
playing totally different than the other teams in our preliminary pool.
We tried to win but the USA had more self control in the end. There are
some players that have a big attitude. We tried to stop their block and
to disturb them with the service”.
