Russia wins the duel of the giants |

Russian players lucky about the second win |
It is the duel
between the teams with the largest players of this World Championship.
Russia and Poland each have eight players who are bigger than 200
centimeters. You can use the largest, each 208 centimeters (Milosz
Hebda, POL, and Maxim Kulikov, RUS) and so it is probably difficult for
any opponent to play against them.
In the first set the Russians made it better, even by the three attack
(11) less than Poland (14), but produced fewer unforced errors (5-9)
and took four log points. Poland managed to block not a single point so
that the rate of 25-20 went to Russia.
Poland was in the second set with a good long time against the Russian
boys who had lost not a set on Friday against Brazil. With a 23-22 lead
for Poland, the Russians were briefly danger of having to face the
first set loss. But two huge double block against Poland Wojciech
Ferrers and Adrian Buchwoski brought the points to 25-23 for Russia.
Perhaps the Russians were a little bite to sure of their cause. In the
third set they marked a playful 14-7 lead, but were back to 16-19 and
could even compensate for the 19-19. But now the Poles were better in
the match and picked up the set with 25-21 after 27 minutes playing
time.
For a real turning point, however, it was not enough. The Russian team
coached by Sergei Shlyapnikov reclaimed its attack power for a second
victory in Pool D. 10-3 and 20-8 were the results in the middle of the
set. For the last two points for 25-11 pole Mika Mateusz ensured at a
service to the net and the Russian Nikita Stulenkov finished the match
with an attack on the center.
