Kim Hyung-Sil, coach of Peru: We have reached our goal of making the Olympics. Volleyball stagnated in Korea after we failed to make the Beijing Games. We hope this success will encourage our men's team to make it London as well. Thirty six years ago the Korean women took the bronze medal and we will go to London with the goal of getting a medal as well.
Luca Cristofani, coach of Peru: Our players worked hard today. They have a bright future. In the years ahead we can achieve success. I will meet with the federation on Tuesday to discuss the future. The average age of the players is just 20. I think we can become one of the top eight teams in the world in the future.
Hwang Youn-Joo, player of Korea: We are going to the Olympic Games. I am very happy. We have to think about our plans on how to have success at the Olympics. We could not make it to the Beijing Olympics. We felt regret for that. We had a lot of injuries then. We became united to get this goal and worked hard.
Carla Rueda, player of Peru: I believe we played well. We had chances to win the third set. We had some trouble with reception. Our young players have room to grow. I was sad we could not qualify for the Olympic Games. We will try our best to make it in four years.
