Juan Carlos Gala, coach of Cuba: We played well. Our blocking and serving were good. The offense worked well, but it took power and time. I would like to praise our players. After last night's loss, I told them not to give up and keep playing high quality until the end.

Norimasa Sakakuchi, coach of Chinese Taipei: We have not even won a set yet, so I'm sure the players are having a tough time physically and mentally. We had a team meeting last night and talked about fighting spirit and they played better today. I hope they will show their fighting spirit in the final match tomorrow.

Leanny Castaneda Simon, player of Cuba: We played well in today's match. Our blocks and counter attacks worked good. Our opponents defended well but we were able to stop them with our strong serves. We will do our best with all of our energy from here on. Even though we won't make the Olympics, we have to go on.

Chen Wan Ting, player of Chinese Taipei: In the first set we were able to take the lead because our service reception was good. In the second we could not attack well. In the third set both teams made a lot of mistakes. We will do our best tomorrow. We have trust in our coach.
