Sofia, Bulgaria, June 8, 2012 - Bulgaria easily beat Pakistan, a team neve met before in their history.
Bulgaria coach, Radostin Stoytchev: "It was really important for us to win the match in three sets in order not to waste more energy then needed for this victory. Our goal is to qualify for the Olympics and tomorrow match will be decisive for that".
Bulgaria captain, Vladimir Nikolov: "We are pretty satisfied of our victory today. It was important for us to save our physical and psychological strength for the next match against France. However, I believe Pakistan played really well taking into account their current world ranking".
Pakistan coach, Hussain Mazhar Hassan: "This is our very first time playing in an Olympic qualification and I think the Bulgarian players were very good. My team is really young and they did their best but the difference between Bulgaria and our team is just too big".
Pakistan captain, Naseer Ahmed: "It was good match for us. Bulgaria was a really good opponent and my teammates are really young but I think they played well"
