Serbia No. 1 Nikola Kovcevic: It’s the beginning of the tournament and we’ve played two games and won two, so it’s a good start for us. Now we have two days off to prepare ourselves so we can continue winning like we have till now.
Serbia coach Igor Kolakovic: I would like to congratulate Korea for a good game. We are happy with this victory. After the second set we were a bit tired and we played the set without energy, but we came back after that in the right way and managed to get a very important victory.
Korea coach Park Ki-Won: One of the reason for today’s loss was the inexperience of our young players. They couldn’t recover due to this inexperience.
Korea captain Kwon Young-Min: In today’s game we couldn’t play 100 per cent. We have a match against Japan in two days’ time and I want to win against Japan and get a ticket to the Olympics.
Korea No. 14 Kim Yo-Han: We tried our best but it was a really tough match and the loss is a real pity. We have more games to play so now I want to forget about losing today.
