Buenos Aires, Argentina, May 10, 2013 – The Salta Province House in Argentina will serve as one of the stops of the 2013 FIVB World League intercontinental round.

At Friday’s press conference, Salta governor Juan Manuel Urtubey showed his pride in recovering an international sporting event.  Urtubey says he expects much tourism from the event, especially from France – the rival team of the Argentine light blue - white jersey team in Salta – with new dates confirmed, July 6-7 at Delmi Stadium.

"In Salta we take pride in all sports because we understand that sport is a great mirror where our society can watch itself and over all the young athletes," said Urtubey.

The players agreed in the pleasure it meant to play in Salta.

“We hope the local people welcomes and supports us, I am sure it will be so,” said Olympic volleyball player Sebastian Sole.

His teammate Rosario Pablo Crer said, “We are very happy to play in Salta and we believe this return will bring a great support of the local fans so we are preparing ourselves to give the best output against France.”

Salta governor Juan Manuel Urtubey, Argentine Volleyball Federation President Juan Antonio Gutierrez, Tourist and Culture Ministry Mariano Ovejero, Sport Secretary Federico Abud, and Olympic volleyball players Sebastian Sole and Pablo Crer attended the press conference.

Delmi Stadium previously hosted the 2002 Men World Championship.
