Dutch coach Edwin Benne celebrates his second major victoryafter winning the 2012 Euro League since taking charge of the Netherlands in 2011

Rotterdam, the Netherlands, September 2, 2012 – Following Sunday's impressive
3-2 (20-25, 25-23, 17-25, 25-21, 15-13) win over Portugal to seal a spot in the World League 2013, the Netherlands coach Edwin Benne said Portugal's "teamspirit and hard work are a great inspiration for us."

The Netherlands coach Edwin Benne: "We are very happy with the win and have great respect for Portugal. The Dutch team can learn a lot from Portugal; teamspirit and the hard work are great inspirations for us."

The Netherlands captain Rob Bontje: "These matches are very important to help us raise our game. We both deserve to win but in the end the Netherlands were the lucky ones."

Portugal coach Flavio Gulinelli: "Good result for the Dutch team. It was two really tough matches and Portugal was not in condition to make a difference."
