Coach profile

Igor Kolakovic replaced Ljuba Travica as coach of the Serbia men’s national team ahead of the 2006 FIVB World Championship, after assisting him for three years.

Kolakovic began coaching club Buducnost Podgorica in 1997 until 2010 taking them to a silver medal win at the 2009 FIVB World League. He has also led a young squad to bronze in both the World League and World Championship in 2010. He will have plenty of confidence in his team after they proved their mettle by winning the European Championships last year.
