Blain: "We were mentally strong"

The press conference in Pau after France saw off Korea on Wednesday
France coach Philippe Blain: "We start in this match with a lot of nervousness. We committed many faults but players bring the proof that the mental is very important. We were extremely successful in block and it’s not our best . We took confidence as one goes along. We did a good performance but will have to confirm in Boulazac."

France captain Nicolas Maréchal: "We are relieved but it will be necessary to win the next match to avoid plays-downs, it is great important. We have our fate between hands. We were Under pressure. Tonight we forced our gameplay but then when we relax we play much better."

Korea coach Park Mi-won: "We lose today. We start very well. We make too many faults on High ball skills, it’s the key point of the match."
