Nikolov: We lost an important point

Radostin Stoychev (middle) is disappointed
Bulgaria coach Radostin Stoyhev: "I am totally disappointed of the performance and the result, of course. We lost vital point. Our reception was too bad in the second and forth set. With that bad percentage we can not play volleyball at all. The team is not playing smooth. Congratulations for Japan for their hearts and spirit."

Bulgaria captain Vladimir Nikolov: "One Pyrrhic victory for us. We lost important point but Japan deserve winning it. Our play fluctuated and we payed the price. Now it is all going through two victories over Russia."

Japan coach Tatsuya Ueta: "Some of our players are tired - Usami and Yamamoto, for example. They are not in good condition. That effected our reception in the 3rd and 5th set and we could not show our best in attack. Now we are looking for our best against Germany."

Japan captain Daisuke Usami: "Today we played a little bit better match than yesterday. I happy with the result but after all - we lost. We could not use our serve tactics but still at the end it was not satisfying for us. We want to give better performance to Germany next week."
